A huge thankyou to all SLMASC volunteers

As a thank you to ALL our volunteers from last weekends “Beaches NSW Opti Champs” Adam Beashel will be on the bbq from 8am this Sunday cooking egg and bacon rolls.

“Come, Relax, Enjoy, Eat and put your feet up”

This will be followed by a free BBQ lunch for all volunteers, we hope you can come and enjoy.

This Sunday 2nd April is Beashel Shield Day for all Opti Sailors

Learn To Sail from 9.30am

Adventure Sailing and Opti racing from 11.30am

Beashel Shield 12.30pm

Dinghy and Yacht racing from 2pm

Remember daylight savings finishes this Saturday, don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour when going to bed Saturday.

Welcome all Opti Sailors, Parents and Coaches

Over the two days this weekend we play host to the 2017 Beaches and Rose International Optimist NSW & Open Championships. Final preparations are well under way and we are looking forward to seeing you all over the weekend, with currently now over 160 entries it is sure to be an action packed weekend of racing. Stay tuned to the SLMASC Facebook page for some live feeds of all the action for both Saturday and Sunday.

Sailing instructions are available so jump over to the event page where you can see everything from entries, SIs and any other general information.

4.00pm – Opti Practice Racing
4.30pm – Start of SLMASC Friday Night Twilight Race
5.00pm – Onwards – Register for the Jet Boat rides
6.00pm – Onwards – Registration for all competitors

7.00am – Coffee Van in Operation
8.00am – Bacon and Egg Rolls Available
8.30am – Jet Boat Rides Begin
9.00-11.00am – Registration for all competitors
10.30am – SLMASC Support boat briefing
11.30am – Coach boat drivers briefing
11.40am – Competitors Briefing
12.00pm – Green fleet Coaches Session
12.30-12.45pm – First Warning Signals
4-6pm – Competitors BBQ

7.00am – Coffee Van in Operation
7.30am – Bacon and Egg Rolls Available
8.00am – Opti AGM
10.30-11.30am – Green fleet Coaches Session
11.00-11.30am – First Warning Signals
After Racing – Competitors BBQ and Presentation will be held immediately after racing.

Sailing Continues as Normal this Week

Due to the Toronto Amateur Sailing Clubs Annual Regatta being cancelled Sunday sailing will resume as normal. Learn to Sail will kick of at 9.30am with Adventure Racing and Opti Racing classes starting from 11am. Sunday afternoon racing for all classes will start from 2pm. Look forward to seeing you all there this weekend.
