All sailing activities have been cancelled until further notice.

Across the globe, individuals, families, communities, and businesses are adjusting to a new reality in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We extend heartfelt sympathy to anyone impacted by the virus, and sincere gratitude to the healthcare workers and organisations on the front lines battling this unprecedented disease. We are reaching out to provide an update on how we are responding to this rapidly evolving situation.

In light of the recent announcement by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, which limits non-essential public gatherings, we have been forced to make some difficult decisions relating to the remainder of the SLMASC sailing season. The safety and well-being of our members, volunteers and the local community is our top priority.

The balance of the sailing season has been abandoned. The cumulative results for the season to date will be used to determine the final standings for the season to award Club Champions and Point Score Winners. All sailing presentations have been postponed until further notice.

Notice of Race – Marine Outlet 72nd SLMASC Annual Regatta

The Notice of Race for our 72nd annual regatta sponsored once again by Marine Outlet is available here or from the event page.

Sponsored by Marine Outlet this regatta promises exciting racing catering for all dinghy classes. Camping (tents only- no generators) is available across the road from the club house for $35 per night payable at Registration. Club bathrooms will be accessible 24hrs.

We hope to see you on 8th and 9th of February 2020.

LAKE MACQUARIE – 26TH JANUARY, 2020

·  Open to Yachts, Trailer Yachts and Multihulls with current Cat 7 Certificates.

·  Divisions and handicaps will be as per the R K Robinson Series. Any boats not in the RKR will be given a handicap based on their club handicap.

·  Warning signal times: White Division 11:55, Green Division 12:05, Blue Division 12:15

·  Online Entry and entry fee of $35.00

·  Prizes will be awarded for 1st on handicap in all divisions plus Trailer Yachts and best dressed Australia Day theme yacht, plus many other prizes at the Race Committee discretion.

·  Results announcement, presentation and sausage sizzle will be held at the Wangi RSL. There will also be entertainment so join in the fun.

·  A boat will be provided to ferry crews from yachts to shore after the race – VHF 77

·  Entry fee only $35.00
