We have had over 80 entries this year with a strong turn out from a variety of classes. Some light winds saw some tricky conditions across the two race courses, however with some interesting wind predictions tomorrow it was fantastic to see many of the fleets fit in 3 races today.
Tomorrow will hopefully bring more famous sunny sunshine weather where we will wrap up our 70th birthday in style.

Race 4 of the RK Robertson held on Saturday 20th January 2018 saw some incredible results from SLMASC.
NEREUS – 1st on Line Honours Div 3, 1st on Corrected Time & 1st Overall RK Shield on the day
STEALTHY – 2nd on Line Honours Div 1, 1st on Corrected Time & 3rd Overall RK Shield on the day
A consistent East, NorEast breeze of 15-18 knots made for great sailing with 6 boats competing and after Race 4 the tally once again has SLMASC sitting in FIRST PLACE!

What a fabulous achievement and a huge congratulations to all those that have competed for Southlakes so far. Race 5 is this Saturday, February 10th with Wangi being the Host club. This could be our year SLMASC and it is vital we have all boats on the water this weekend RACE READY.

Its that time again for the SLMASC annual regatta. This year we send an invitation to all of the beach sailors to compete in our historical 70th anniversary regatta.
The 70th SLMASC Annual regatta will be conducted over the weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of February 2018.
