Our Annual Dinghy Presentation will be held on Sunday 7th May 2017. The famous SLMASC afternoon tea will be served from 4pm, followed by the annual trophy presentations. We would like to extend the invite to all sailors, members and their families for what is sure to be an excellent afternoon.
All ‘Learn to Sail, Adventure Racing’, ‘Opti Racing’ and racing dinghies will receive a trophy for their splendored achievements of the past season. The afternoon is a celebration of all that is achieved as well as special trophy presentations and we are even working on something extra special for the afternoon… stay tuned…..
We look forward to seeing you all there on the 7th May…

While the idea of a twilight sail at sunset may have passed for this season there is still more to play for this season on the Yachting Calendar.
This Friday night from 6pm there is a yacht BBQ to celebrate the end of the twilight season for 2016/17. BYO meat, dinner, drinks, the bar will be open… All skippers can collect their glasses for the season or save them for collection, with some possible silverware, at presentation night later in May.
Don’t forget for those who haven’t worn out their sea legs just yet there are still 4 more races in the Sunday winter series. If you could please ring the club to confirm you are intending to start to assist the starter.
Also good luck to the SLMASC members competing at Sail Port Stephens this week after completing the Newcastle to Port Stephens Race on Sunday. It is sure to be a great regatta….
