Australia Day “Weekend” – Team SLMASC Cruise and BBQ

Due to unexpected circumstances the BBQ is unavailable so if your coming please bring your own food – BYO Everything.

Team SLMASC is having a “Cruise” and on Monday 25th January 2016.

John Mason (Yacht – Co-ordinator) is organising a cruise to STYLES POINT, RATHMINES on Monday 25th of January. ALL WELCOME.

“IF YOUR COMING LET US KNOW”

Fly the club “BURGEE”, so we know who’s there.

Plan: To sail from “YOUR MOORING OR BOAT RAMP” to “STYLES POINT, RATHMINES” anchor approximately 3:00 to 4:00PM and enjoy great company ashore. Styles Point. Rathmines has a public jetty and toilet facilities, simply just a nice day out to enjoy Lake Macquarie and a simple get together with some club members.

BYO – EVERYTHING.

If you came last year, you know it was great day out with good company.

Stay overnight and enjoy waking up on Australia Day or proceed home early evening, your choice.

Welcome to the 2016 Harken A Class Catamaran Australian Championships

Welcome to the 2016 Harken A Class Catamaran Australian Championships. Hosted by South Lake Macquarie Amateur Sailing Club, Sunshine NSW on beautiful Lake Macquarie. With racing between Jan04 and Jan08 its going to be an exciting 12 race format, seeing these speed machines take to the Lake. With Olympians, World, National and State Champions as well as America’s Cup Competitors taking part you will need to be at your best to take the trophy.

For competitors: Registration and Measurements are available both Saturday and Sunday with the Invitation race/s to be held from 1300 on Sunday 3rd.

To watch: With the course’s at the Southern end of the Lake there are multiple vantage points from the club right around to Shingle Spitters Point as well as the Southern side of Wangi (Dobell Park area).
