Final Results – Autumn Twilight Pointscore – Yachts

Twilight Yachts Division #1.

The first FOUR positions were decided by “count backs”, can we get any closer racing in Division 1? Well what a way to finish the Autumn point-score than to have a race that would be dominated by “WHO FOUND THE WIND”. I’m sure the first FOUR boats around the second last mark thought they were home and hosed. Unfortunately that was not to be. Our Autumn point-score winners are:-

  1. SORCERER
  2. ANARCHY
  3. HECTIC

 

Twilight Yacht Division #2.

Who would have thought that the last boat home in the last race of the Autumn point-score would go on the win the series by a massive 5 points, just goes to show that sticking with it and collecting every available point does sometimes count. (“Getting sailing tips from skippers from Division #1 might have helped them also”). But where would we be without another “count-back” to decide the runners up in Division 2. Our Autumn point-score winners are:-

  1. TONIC
  2. LADY CHAOS
  3. SUNDOWNER

 

A big congratulations to all our skippers and crews from both divisions who made it to as many races as possible throughout the 13-14 season; and a very big thank you to all our judges and helpers throughout the Twilight series.
