Following a fantastic turnout by SLMASC yachts, especially in Division 1, Team SLMASC have done the seemingly impossible and slashed the lead of MPASC to just a couple of points after 3 races in the series.
Racing in near perfect conditions last Saturday over an awesome new marathon course utilising a new club temporary mark in Carangan Bay, SLMASC dominated the placings in both divisions resulting in the series being virtually all square with 1 race to go. Full results from race 3 and prior races in the series have been posted on the interclub events page of the website. Thanks to all team members who rallied to the call for more boats on the water in race 3 …. it really did make all the difference. Race 4 in the series, the decider, will be held on Saturday 16th March at MPASC (normal course …. no marathon), so mark it in your diary now and rally the crew as a repeat performance by SLMASC will see a most unlikely series win by Team SLMASC. Let’s take the full fleet down to MPASC for race 4 and bring the trophy home in style! Well done Team SLMASC …. but the job isn’t finished. See you all for Race 4 at MPASC.
