Last weekend saw the end of sailing events for the season with a couple of social sails for yachts and dinghies. For the yachts on Friday the seven boats had one of the nicest breezes of the series for a quick dash around the island and a raft up behind Point Wooly for a very pleasant evening of socialising whilst enjoying the sunset. Sunday at the club had a typically autumn wind of good breeze in the morning for our LTS then dying out to nothing for the marathon dinghy race. The social side of the day was enjoyed by all.
Please come along to the last event of the season on Saturday 28 June for the AGM and Presentation. There are plenty of prizes to be handed out, a great meal, a chance to catch up with other club members and a chance to support the hard-working committee. The AGM is at 1600, junior presentation at 1730, dinner at 1800. Cost is $25 per head for members and their partners, $30 for non-members.
