New Yacht Courses for Sunday Summer Series.
The Sailing Committee has revised the Sunday Yacht Courses and the new courses will be adopted from the start of the Sunday Summer Series.Note that there have been no changes made to Twilight Courses.
A great deal of work has gone into this revision of the courses to attempt to the standardise the length of courses to make handicapping fairer. The new courses are slightly longer however, so Handicaps have also be revised accordingly with most boats receiving a lift to reflect the slightly longer race time.
Make sure that you print off a set of the new courses and take them with you on Sunday. If you seem to be sailing in the opposite direction to the rest of the fleet ….. check that you are looking at the new course sheet (and tear up the old one!).
